BIR

Bureau of International Recycling (BIR)
Founded in 1948, BIR was the first federation to support the interests of the recycling industry on an international scale. Today, BIR represents over 760 member companies from the private sector and 36 national associations in more than 70 countries. Together, these members form the largest international recycling federation. It serves as a platform to establish successful business relations and to promote recycling among other industrial sectors and policy makers.

The Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (FING) was established in 1915. Since its foundation, it has been active in its efforts to promote not only industrial development, but also economic and social progress in Northern Greece. It proposes and contributes to actions aimed at establishing and promoting the competitive advantages of Northern Greece, as well as to the promotion of the overall economic development of the region.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki is established in 1918. Its operation begins in 1919. The TCCI is the second Chamber in Greece in terms of size and its contribution in the development of the country until now is very important.

The Greek International Business Association (SEVE) was established in 1975 as a non-profit organization and is currently the largest association of exporting companies in Greece numbering approximately 600 member – companies.
